Good morning! It is a rainy, gloomy day over here. I would like nothing more than to be curled up reading a book right now. Except it is raining through our living room ceiling right now, so that might not be all that enjoyable
Have you guys read about Lindsey’s new Give and Feel Good Challenge? If not, you should totally check it out. I started my intentional giving yesterday by buying a gift card for a friend who gave me a ride to work today.

I had some car issues to deal with, and when I texted her to ask if she could give me a ride, she said “Sure!” without even asking why. She’s one of those friends who is there for you no matter what, even if it means going out of her way. So I thought I’d brighten her morning with a little surprise
I did manage to get in a decent workout last night. I started by doing a 40 minute Turbo Jam DVD.

This DVD series is one of the few infomercial items I’ve ever been suckered into buying. I was sick one day, and didn’t have a gym membership and somehow I found myself online ordering the overpriced workout system. I don’t really love these DVDs, but I try to do them semi-often so it doesn’t feel like a waste of money.
After I finished that, I showered and had some chili that I’d made ahead last night.

Yep, more ‘maters. This wasn’t my best creation, it needed a lot more flavor. But it was warm and comforting nonetheless. For dessert I had some cottage cheese with apricot preserves.

I know that is a snack that my girl Janetha will NOT appreciate, but I love sweet cottage cheese sometimes. Nummy.
After recovering from the wave of utter dispair that came when I discovered that Glee was not on tonight, I set up my yoga mat and did a 20 minute easy flow on my own – focusing mainly on stretching out my tight-ass hammies.

That little sliver of floor is all the space I have to workout in at home, but it just goes to show that where there’s a will there’s a way
Alright, back to work. I have been told that today is the day we’ll be shooting the screen test (yippee). And I am worried that my ceiling is going to be caved in when I get home – there were literally cracks in the ceiling when I left this morning. So it could be an interesting day!
