Whew! Today was busy, stressful and successful. Not exactly a relaxing day off but I definitely got a lot accomplished. As soon as I finished posting I sped off to my appointment to look at apartment #1. I thought I was really sold on it because it was a really nice high-rise and my apartment had an amazing view, but then I realized it didn’t have a washer/dryer hookup or an on-site laundry facility. So… I said I would think about it. Then I looked at about 2,000 other apartments.
I liked a lot of them, and ended up finding one, but it’s a lot more than I was planning to spend. However, it has tons of space and a bigger kitchen and it’s in an awesome area. I think I might even apply for a part time job at the health food store right nearby. How sweet would it be to get discounts on healthy food?!
On an interlude between apartments I had a smoothie, I had too much going on to sit down and eat anything. But… WordPress won’t let me upload it :/
I had a service appointment on my car so while I was waiting on that I had a complimentary cup of coffee, half of a pumpkin muffin top while reviewing all my options and making pro/con lists.

Then I went back and put in an application to the place I decided on. I’m a decision maker, and I will do anything to convince myself that I’m making the right decision. I wanted the search to be over today… so I made a decision. And that’s that. I hope. I’m so relieved that I at know where I’m going to be living now, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted.
My lack of proper nutrition throughout the day left me weak and starving by the time I got home. I needed something quick and filling so I attempted to make an omelet, but it didn’t really turn into an omelet as much as a pile of eggs, feta and spinach.

It may not be pretty, but it tasted great. It may have been because I was so hungry but I could have eaten about 3 of them. I also had a slice of whole wheat toast with apricot preserves.

This helped a lot, but I definitely see some froyo in my future. My plan for the night is to make about 658 lists about moving and what not. I take moving very seriously, I want it to be planned, organized and executed perfectly! Type A much?
Oh, and Glee is back tonight! Woo hoo!!
Good luck with moving
