Hey guys! It’s another day of working for home here. We’ve got a couple inches of snow and it’s still coming down. Definitely not earth-shattering, but I’m glad not to have to be out in it.
I’ve been eating warm foods, obviously. Being the cheap skate that I am, I only have the apartment heated enough to where neither the pipes nor I will freeze to death, but it’s definitely not warm. Big snuggly blankets, house slippers, hoodies and random 5 minute stints on the elliptical will get you there though
Dinner last night started out with some Amy’s Chunky Tomato Bisque.
I also had a lot of leftover Bulgar and Black Soybean salad, but I didn’t take a picture. Call me lazy. It would be the truth.
I stayed up past my bed time since I knew I wouldn’t have to get up as early as usual and woke up just in enough time to get my life in order before getting to work. I wasn’t hungry upon waking for some reason so I didn’t eat breakfast until like an hour ago. But it was deeelish! I was out of bowls, so please excuse the awkward mini casserole dish.
I started the breakfast with a layer of nonfat greek yogurt.
And then added a layer of sliced bananas.
And then I added a thick layer of peanut buttery oat goodness.
It was the epitome of fabulous. Thanks again Janetha for the idea! I ate this while working s’more and now I’m about to do some yoga on my lunch break since my meals are all out of wack. I’ve been craving yoga like crazy and can’t wait to stretch it out.
Then it’s back to work for 5 hours before the real weekend begins! It already feels like the weekend since I’m at home but I’m trying to remind myself that it’s not!
Alrighty ya’ll! Have a good rest of the day!!

That breakfast looks so good! I’m craving something peanut-buttery.

Thank you for the new breakfast idea! I was getting tired of plain old oats in a bowl. sometimes a different presentation can make a meal entirely new!
