Seductive little devils

Hello lads and lasses! My post is belated today since I posted so late last night. Also, because I’m flat out exhausted. My new job and Fitbloggin’ are two things I love, but they have both succeeded in wearing me out completely! I literally can’t wait to go to sleep tonight. It’s pretty much all I can think about. But there’s a lot standing between then and now!

Last night for second dinner, I had an amazing bowl of yoatgurt.

Almond butter oatmeal with Dannon vanilla Greek yogurt

Hmmm, I was clearly as tired last night when I was picking out that photo as I am right now. ‘Tis blurry, but last night I could have sworn it was not. The oatmeal was mixed with some Justin’s Almond Butter and paired with Dannon 0% Vanilla Greek yogurt. Yum.

Breakfast was another green monster, bringing my consumption total to three in under 24 hours. I cant get enough.

Lunch was slightly embarrassing. I really can’t wait until I have time to cook again. I miss having leftovers for lunch. Instead, I had more canned soup.

And alongside that can ‘o sodium, I had a can ‘o sugar. I’ve been staring at a twelve pack of root beer in the work fridge all week, and I finally caved.

I definitely didn’t feel too hot after this lunch. Full? Yes. Satisfied? No. Preservatives are seductive little devils, but you always pay for them afterwards.

I’m trying to remedy the situation right now with an apple.

But there’s really no hope for me today. I have a post-job #1, pre-job #2 date at a little Italian joint right after work. Date #2 in fact. Kind of a big deal, since I don’t remember the last time I went on two dates with a guy willingly. I did go on two dates with a guy last year around this time, but it was entirely against my will. Have I mentioned how much I hate dating?

And after that… we’re having pizza at work. And hey, I’ve got to be social and eat some right?! Let’s not kid ourselves, I love pizza and I’m rather looking forward to eating it.

Seriously though. I’m really ready to return to a semi-normal way of life, which means working out four or more times per week and eating real, home-cooked food the majority of the time. I’m thinking that I’ll be able to get there by Saturday, but until then I guess I’m just going to make the best of it.
