Do Good

Hey guys! How is your Monday treating you so far? Mine has been quite productive, I think. I just finished up the full-time job and I’m about to head to the part-time gig.

I was a little worried that I would start to dread job #2 after working a full day, but luckily I love it so much that going in feels like a treat. I was actually a little bummed yesterday that I didn’t have to go in.

Know what else I love? Having leftovers to have for lunch.

Baked Risotto Primavera

I brought in another serving of the Baked Risotto Primavera from yesterday. So good and cheesey. Perfect comfort food for a stressful day.

Later on I had my first ever blood orange.

Blood orange

I was so excited to spot these at the grocery store on Saturday. They are delicious little buggers.

For a more filling snack I had some plain nonfat Greek yogurt with peanut butter. So good.

Speaking of good… I thought this was extremly cool – a way for bloggers to do good! I saw this on Ashley’s blog and just had to share it.

Hershey’s Better Basket Blog Hop

Here’s the detailed rules so that you can make a difference:

  • Copy and paste these rules to your blog post.
  • Create a blog post giving a virtual Easter Basket to another blogger – you can give as many Virtual Baskets as you want.
  • Link back to person who gave you an Easter Basket.
  • Let each person you are giving a Virtual Easter Basket know you have given them a Basket.
  • Leave your link at BetterBasket.info/BlogHop comment section. You can also find the official rules of this #betterbasket blog hop, and more information about Better Basket with Hershey’s there.

Being bloggers we are part of an amazing community. We have amazing readers and friendships that started all because we started blogging. Let’s use this power to create a difference and help others.

I am inviting ALL of my fellow bloggers who want to make a difference. It will take 10 minutes out of your time. Every post helps, and will add money to the Children’s Miracle Network fund.

We can make a difference

Have a great rest of the day guys!

  1. I can’t believe there are really fruits called blood oranges! I’ve never heard of them and didn’t believe it at first. I don’t know if I could eat one because of the color juice and the name! I guess I can’t judge it until I try it though ;)

  2. I had no creativity tonight so I just copied your post. figured you wouldn’t mind since it’s for a good cause? ;-) It will run in the morning.

I’d try a blood orange but haven’t come across them in my neck of the woods.
