When I’m baking for a crowd, I always make something from a box just in case I mess everything else up.

Then I go with something I’ve made before and people have requested specifically.

The SIL has been begging me to make her some of these zucchini muffins for weeks now. So I made them for her for Christmas. She better realize how much I love her, since making these requires me to bust out this dag-nabbed contraption.

Food processors are evil. Too many pieces. Hard to clean. But without it I couldn’t do this.

Christmas green? Sure…

When I run out of boxed mixes and special requests, I start to copy other bloggers ideas.

I started with Jess’s Honeycrisp Apple Crisp.

I doubled this recipe and I’m super excited to eat it tomorrow. It smells amazing!

Of course, I have to try out the latest blog craze as well.

Surely you know where I’m going with this.

Jessica’s Cookie Dough Dip. Otherwise known as insane goodness. I’ve never been more excited to lick a spoon in my life.

I will never be able to whip up four sweet treats in this kitchen without acquiring a terrible stomach ache. I have no self control.

After the marathon kitchen session, I cleaned up the kitchen, vacuumed and worked out. That’s been my Christmas so far.

But it’s about to get a lot more exciting as I head home for the holidays!
