3:40 a.m.

I thought you guys needed to know what time I was up this morning.

Murder.

I slept horribly in anticipation for that wake-up call, but here I am – up and at ‘em.

I’m flying to DC at 6 a.m. this morning for a whirlwind trip to my future homeland.

Trip mission: Find a job.

I do already have a job and that job is offering to let me move to DC and stay with the company, but because of some things I’d rather not get into yet – I think it’s best if I find some additional options.

I have no idea how things are going to end up, but I have three interviews in the next two days and I’m hoping and praying for the best.

I’ll keep you guys updated!

Here’s hoping that my travel goes smoothly and I don’t fall asleep during an interview!

P.S. Thank you all so much for what you said in response to my family post yesterday. Each comment made me feel so great. I had a good talk with my mom last night and my grandma called to tell me my grandpa had had a good day – so I’m feeling much better about everything. Thanks again for your support!!

Have you ever flown out of state for an interview? Were you scared out of your flipping mind?

I am.

  1. That’s so great that you’re giving yourself more options. It’s also wonderful that you have other options. I’m sure you’ll rock those interviews girly! :) Best of luck!

  2. Ick…3:40am. I was up then too, but only because I couldn’t sleep because of a squirming baby. I hope you got to nap on your flight!

I’ve never had an out of town interview, but I would be terrified. But I’m sure you’ll do fantastically. :-)

    • Haha…yup. I can see how this sounds like I had a baby. No, not yet (unfortunately!) – I just meant she was squirming inside my belly, preventing me from sleeping. Sorry for the major confusion. ;-)
