Love, Food, Bestiality and MLK

I had a fabulous weekend. I still didn’t really sleep at all, but we’ll overlook that for now.

I’ve tried unsuccessfully for the past hour to write about the weekend as a whole, and I can’t seem to do it. I had three meals out, and they were some of the best dining experiences of my life. I will try to post about them soon, although I didn’t take any pictures at any of the establishments.

The main thing that made my weekend so great was my boyfriend, and it’s really hard for me to write blog posts wherein I say things like that. I don’t want to be that girl.

So I don’t have much to say, other than this:

If you’re going to fall in love with someone at a time when you really wanted to be single and young and experiencing life on your own, make sure you do it with a person that will let you be the exact person you would be if you were still single – and do it with someone who loves to eat as much as you do.

Unless you don’t love to eat, in which case you’re just weird and probably shouldn’t read this blog.

Oh! And I have something else to say. I went to see Beauty and the Beast 3D yesterday, and I realized I didn’t really even remember what the movie was about. It was fun to relive my childhood, but I couldn’t help but think about how creepy it was that Belle would fall in love with the Beast. I mean, what if he wouldn’t have turned into a human at the end? How would they have had sex? Bestiality is illegal in most places (not sure about France) and even if it was legal back then, that’s pretty gross. Gah, Disney, get it together.

Okay, that’s all.

Lots of words about food coming up soon. Until then I’m going to go do a leg workout that I dread more than any combination of things ever before.

Oh, and shout out to MLK.

I’d rather be celebrating his awesomeness with a day off work, but I won’t be petty and complain about that. Oh wait, I just did.

Okay, lunges. I have to go do them.
