(Insert sigh of relief here) And looky looky, two posts from me on a Friday. This new way of posting is really working out so far, eh?
So, ummmm apparently I’m the only blogger person in America who enjoyed Grey’s Anatomy last night, haha. I think it speaks a little badly of my character perhaps? Hmmm… Oh well
When you think about it though, Grey’s Anatomy is not all that different from most of the other shows on TV today. I mean with raunchy reality shows taking over the airwaves, and shows like 90210 and Gossip Girl (shows I watch, no judgy here) parading underaged sex and drinking you have to look pretty hard to find shows with much intelligence or moral value these days. I’m not trying to be sassy here, just musing.
Anyways, I’ll still be watching it unless I’m out doing something else, or watching The Office, or (most likely) sleeping. It’s got nothing on my love for House (on DVD) but I ain’t hatin’ on Seattle Grace just yet.
I know you all probably have big exciting plans to get to, that you are only putting on hold in order to read about what I ate today (I keed, I keed) - so I’ll stop playing TV critic and get right too it
Today was Breakfast Friday, and the girl that cooked today was uber sweet and made a dish just for me. It’s always sweet when people do that, but I certainly DO NOT expect it. She made a plethora of goodies, but the item aimed at me was an egg and cheese biscuit.

All the other biscuits had sausage, but she saved one sans meat for me. The biscuit was homemade and the cheese was full fat. Very filling, very luxurious. Yum.

She also made several dessert-type things. I had one of each.
There was a coconut thingy, and red bean paste thingy, and a cake thingy. All of them thingies were quite tasty. The girl who made all these treats is Korean and when I ask her for recipes, she always says “I’ll give them to you when you learn to read Korean.” haha.
Anyways, I was stuffed after that breakfast! But I planned ahead and brought a light and nutritious lunch to balance it all out.

I had nil to pack for lunch today, so I made my green monster per usual and stuck it in the freezer upon arriving at work. It was still delicious when I drank it six hours later.
After drinking this large marge smoothie and peeing about 87.5 times, I felt muuuuch better. I love those Friday breakfasts but they always make me feel too full and lethargic compared to my usual liquid mornings.
About 3 hours later I was still feeling light and breezy, and the thought of a snack hadn’t really crossed my mind Until….

Someone delivered cupcakes to the office. I decided that since it was Cookie Friday in some people’s worlds, I would have Cupcake Friday. It will probably be a one time event though. That was a lot of sugar in just one day.
Today was a weird work day. It kind of just passed by without incident, but the atmosphere just felt kind of weird. I don’t know what it was, it just felt off. I was definitely ready to go home.
Right before quittin time I chowed down on a kiwi.

The little bugger was jucier than ever. Some went on a chair.

And some went down my shirt. By the end of the day I had both green monster stains and kiwi stains speckling the upper portion of my sweater. Klassy.
At 5:00 p.m. on the dot, I changed into workout clothes and peaced the eff out. I headed to the gymnasium and ran an easy two miles (easy in that I did not run it fast, not that it was particularly easy with my neck issue) and then did some strength training. I just did the circuits at the gym twice to get a full body workout in. I haven’t felt up to lifting weights all week, so I took it pretty easy.
I’m actually thinking it may have been a bad idea to try to workout today, as I’m feeling a bit worse at the moment. But oh well.
So now, here I am. Where the night will take me I do not know. But I will be back, at some point, to fill you in!
