For talking incessantly about my move for the next 3.5 months.
For the slight (okay, major) mental instability that is about to ensue.
For eating eggs, cereal and/or ice cream for dinner most nights because I’m too focused on the move to actually cook.
For saying/typing D.C. so many times your head will want to explode.
For writing sappy posts about how sad I am to leave when it comes time to actually depart Oklahoma.
For, once I get there, comparing every.single.thing about my new city to “how we did it in Oklahoma.”
For going on unannounced blogging haituses (haiti?) when it all gets to be too much.
For freaking out when things don’t go exactly as planned.
For depending on this blog for my sanity.
Yeah… I apologize in advance. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Things are going really well with the move. It looks like the job situation is more or less lined out. Still lots of negotiations and whatnot, but I’m less worried about that than I have been, which is awesome.
That, paired with the fact that I’m actually succeeding in saving money, put me in a very enthusiastic mood yesterday.
So I took my enthusiasm for a 4 mile run.
I’m 99% sure that the treadmill I was using was broken. I ran 4.5 miles in under 44 minutes, with a one-minute walking warm-up.
This never happens to me. Like I said, the treadmill was most definitely broken. I’m okay with it though, it was a good run!
I was actually only supposed to run 4, but since I wasn’t sure the treadmill could be trusted I tacked on another half mile.
When I got home I showered, ate the cereal pictured above (Kashi Go Lean Crisp by the way, it’s delicious!), and got into bed at around 8:30 p.m.
This is becoming a problem.
Yes, the extra sleep is wonderful, but that’s just too early. I feel like I’m losing my edge or something. Turning 25 has clearly sent me straight to grannyville.
It needs to be stopped.
What time do you go to bed at night?
